In December 2008, CNAS released Remodeling the U.S. Government for Energy Security: Initial Findings from the Big Energy Map. The recommendations in the initial findings were based on the research, interviews, and group discussions that went into the Big Energy Map project.

Since the release of this working paper, we have received insightful comments and critiques from many readers. Rather than revising the report in our own words, we intend to incorporate the commentary. The “final” report will capture the advice, explanations and suggestions from a series of experts who agreed to comment on the original paper, as well as individuals who have emailed us.
